New Oppurtunities
hey everybody,
Well i've finally decided to give in to the blog fad for a while. Some of you may know soon i'll be done highschool for good. This is my final week and on friday i will be done my exams. This past weekend was a awsome oppurtunity to worship and see good friends from camp. I never realized how fortunate i am to be able to have the oppurtunities to do the ministry with read letters. Since i've been in readletters i have been going to more youth events in the Salvation army then i ever dreamed of. This past weekend we played in scarborough friday and had a great time of worship with Christian friends and the band played really well. Alot of the songs we played were new to some of us(me), but i think we really pulled through and made the most of this oppurtunity to worship. After Scarbborough ended at around 11, we started our drive to Circle Square Ranch. At the Ranch it was more toned down partially because it was smaller and if we hadn't we would have all gone deaf in the hall. During the Worship on saturday evening i Think hearts were touched and decisions were made. It was great to see the younger youth of oshawa and belleville worshiping freely too even surrounded by the pressure of friends and opinions. Overall the Band played great , and had fun.
I've been thinking about once i'm done my exams i will have a ton of free time on my hands until i get a job. There are a few things i hope to during my long days of free time, i want to try and read my bible, to be honest i don't read it at all and i can't remeber the last time i did maybe during church. I also want to practice music alot with my trombone, guitar, and i'm going to be trying to learn keyboard a bit since i got a midi controller for christmas. It sounds like it would be easy to do all these things but i get easily distracted but i'm hoping with all this time off i'll have time to get distracted and fit everything into my day. P.s and keep this blog updated.
Anyhow wish me luck for my exams tommorow and hopefully i can stay true to keeping this schedule(and this blog)
Richard
